NaNoWriMo

This international writing competition takes place every November (with Camp NaNoWriMo taking place earlier in the year).  The aim of the game is to write a 50,000 word first draft in the space on one calendar month - 30 days; 1667 words a day.  It's tough but it's great fun and there is a real sense of community and team spirit that takes place.  Check it out at NaNoWriMo.org
